SPECIALIZED S-WORKS SHIV RED ETAP AXS DISC TT/TRIATHLON BIKE 2020

Free from any UCI set regulations, the Specialized S-Works Shiv RED eTap AXS Disc TT/Triathlon Bike is one of the very fastest ways to complete the bike leg of a race with a host of features to increase its speed. The aerodynamic tube shapes and fork legs are complemented by the airfoils to reduce drag and help the bike and rider cut through the air. The large downtube has been used to house the integrated nutrition Fuelcell keeping it out of the wind and close to hand to aid refuelling, whilst the rear of the bike stores the hydration which is accessed through a fully internal tube system and can be used whilst on the aerobars.

SRAM’s 12-speed RED 1 eTap AXS groupset provides intuitive electronic shifting with a single ring at the front and a 10-33 cassette at the back giving great shifting and a good gear range. The Orbit change management system uses a fluid damped rear derailleur to hold the chain securely in place without the need for a clutch. Shifting is accomplished by the eTap Clics, and some functions of the shifting can be customised using SRAM’s AXS smartphone app. The carbon Roval wheels are 64mm deep for aerodynamic advantage and the Specialized Turbo Cotton tyres are lovely and supple thanks to their 320 tpi carcass.
