Offering XC race-winning pace and plenty of technical trail ability too, the Specialized Epic Hardtail Expert Mountain Bike blends speed, low weight and control perfectly. The FACT 11m carbon frame uses XC Geometry and Rider-First Engineered design to ensure that not only is it stiff and compliant where necessary, but also it provides the same ride-feel and handling across the whole size range. A threaded bottom bracket banishes creaks and makes maintenance easier whilst the fully internal cabling keeps dirt at bay.

29” Carbon Roval Control wheels with DT Swiss hubs are light, stiff and strong, with the 25mm internal width supporting the 2.3” Specialized Fast Trak tyres well. Both tyres and rims are tubeless-ready so easily converted for use without inner tubes, enabling lower pressures, fewer punctures and more grip. 

The SRAM X01 12-speed groupset and Level TL hydraulic brakes suit the bike’s quest for podium-worthy speed, with snappy shifting and strong, consistent braking. A Specialized SWAT EMT Cage-Mount Tool saves space in the saddlebag or pockets and ensures that trailside repairs are as convenient as possible.
