Bike builds don't get much lighter than this, and the Specialized S-Works Aethos Disc Road Bike pairs a FACT 12r carbon frameset with SRAM's flagship electronic RED eTap AXS 12-Speed groupset and Roval's lightest Alpinist CLX wheels.

A bike engineered to create the perfect ride, the Aethos breaks the UCI weight lower limit and is aimed at riders that may race, but wish for something that delivers performance and rides beautifully when off the circuit. The frame alone weighs an incredibly low 588 grams in a size 56, with the full build sitting at 6kg. The updated tubes and carbon layup are responsible for this, minimising material while enhancing stiffness, stability and integrity.

The geometry and fit are borrowed from the Tarmac SL7, so this is a bike still designed to feel aggressive, racy and responsive, so you're losing nothing in performance and ride feel in the quest for low weight. Rider-First Engineered™ design that's used across the Specialized range ensures all frames offer the same positive characteristics.

12-speed SRAM RED eTap components perfect the shifting experience and bring powerful hydraulic, all-condition braking that's confidence-inspiring at speed and on wet roads. There's even a crank-based power meter included, bringing a new dimension to your training. The aforementioned Alpinist wheels have a carbon rim, AeroFlange hubs and weigh only 1248 grams, delivering strength, stiffness and smooth-rolling. Finally, a Roval Alpinist carbon seatpost offers plenty of adjustabilities to dial in your fit.
